Lesson 1 - Welcome to the Kingdom

Jesus taught that the Kingdom of God is not distant or future. It is here. It is now. It is available to anyone who chooses to live under God’s rule.

Luke 17:20-21 (NKJV)
“Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, ‘The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, “See here!” or “See there!” For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.’”

So what does it mean to live in God’s Kingdom?
It means complete surrender.
It means wholehearted commitment to God.

How do we surrender and commit fully?
We listen to God.
We obey God.
We worship God.

Throughout Scripture, Jesus described what the Kingdom is like and what life inside it looks like. In this study, we will explore those teachings and learn how to live them out daily.

When we follow Jesus’ words, life changes. Peace takes root. Joy deepens. We discover a treasure so valuable that we guard it with our whole heart - because we know it is from God.

These are characteristics of Kingdom life.

You gotta learn it.
You gotta live it.
You gotta love it.
And that’s all there is to it.

Join the Kingdom.
Let it shape your way of being.
Then you will discover the joy and freedom of Kingdom living, a higher way of life, full of God’s blessings.

Kingdom Reflection - Lesson 1

The Kingdom of God is present.
But it is not entered accidentally.
It is entered through surrender.

As you finish this first lesson, pause for a moment.

Where in your life are you still ruling instead of allowing God to rule?
Is there an attitude, a habit, a reaction, or a decision that does not reflect Kingdom principles?
Kingdom living begins with awareness.
Not perfection.
Not performance.
Awareness.

This week, simply pay attention.
Notice your words.
Notice your reactions.
Notice the small opportunities to serve that you might normally overlook.
When something inside you says, “That isn’t Kingdom living,”

pause.

That pause is growth.

Which part of this week’s lesson challenged you the most? Why?

What is one practical way you can begin living under God’s rule this week?

You gotta learn it.
You gotta live it.
You gotta love it.
And that’s all there is to it.

And allow the Kingdom to begin shaping you.

Kingdom Awareness - Lesson 1

This week, pay attention to:

Moments when you rely on yourself instead of God.

Times when your reactions reveal what truly rules your heart.

Opportunities to choose obedience over impulse.

Situations where you sense God prompting you quietly.

Ask yourself:

“Who is ruling this moment - me, or the King?”

The Kingdom of God is not just a future destination.
It is a present reality.

Begin noticing where His rule is welcome -
and where it is resisted.

Kingdom life starts with awareness.
